Continuation: Purim in Israel (Rafi’s Perspective)

Rafi loved Purim in Israel. As per Abby’s post, Rafi loved being a dragon and in the community. But someone had to tell him Sat night (Purim evening) that he was a mean dragon. Therefore he could not put back on his dragon costume because he could only be a “good” dragon.  Below is a video of Rafi describing his “good” dragon costume and me discussing Purim with him before passing out Mishloach Manot. He was also happy to receive all the gifts from friends of various candies and cakes. Everytime we got one he had to boast, “I’m hungry,” hoping to get a piece of cake.

He also loved the Suddah we put together for our Fulbright friends. He made a smelling game of various spices and teas and had us guess which ones were which. Afterwards he passed out prizes, giving Jason first place.
